WEEKENDERS

Saturdays are special in my home, it starts with a sleepy morning which I like; but a late breakfast which I'm not keen on. The late breakfast really puts me out of timing for the day and I don't understand the rest of the day, I get all confused, you would expect me to be late all day but I'm not.

Brunch consisted of biscuits in my Eggzier roller (Mummy put a ball with a bell in it inside my Egg today to make it harder to get the biscuits out) and Cod with Rice Milk in my bowl.

I then watched knit knit knit all afternoon whilst the ball of wool grew smaller and the knitted item grew larger. It was very soothing to watch.

We then noticed that there was a cat in the garden, a Ginger cat, big and fluffy. Mummy was taking a lot of interest. I was starting to get jealous, so I went and started pawing at her, making a fuss.
Should I be jealous?

Anyway Mummy then made my Dinner, evening meal, I had a right treat tonight. Can anyone guess what it is from the picture?

Any ideas?

I was licking my lips and gobbled it all up, A clean bowl, no problems tonight, whereas I've had problems eating for months, of getting even a tiny bit into me.

So tonight I had,
Cod with Rice Milk and Diced Carrots, mixed with tuna cracker biscuits.

Well yummy.

New Plan

Well hello my friends.
So I post with bad news.
Mummy took me to the Vets tonight. Oh my how embarrassing.
I have to go on a strict diet and exercise programme as my stomach isn't digesting the little food properly; due to my Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which has affected my stomach.
So my food portions are restricted down and Mummy is to chase me around the house or try and train me to fetch my toys.
I am trying to back my corner and tell everyone I do play with my Beaver a lot and my
Elephant; but no one is listening.

So leaving this post with a picture of myself playing with the tail of what was once a ferret toy:

What can happen in a week?

Oh so much can change in one week. I have been so I'll. Completely off my food, hardly drinking and sleeping solid only to he woken by Mummy at end of day concerned.

Mummy's family member visited only a week ago and I sat under his chair to try win him over, I believe he bought the illness in!
(I'm only joking)

Mummy got concerned as most of the week I was off my food, then in refused completely. Not even eating my favourites. She booked !e into the vets and asked for advice  until my appt which was no food, only water, as I was vomiting. And then to just introduce small amounts of food on the day of appt.
The day of my appt I managed small amounts of food, with Mummy rubbing my belly after to soothe it.

This is the joys of a problem belly linked to a life for a unique cat with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Like Mummy like Son (moggie)?

Hoping for improvement from here onwards.

TODAY'S HAPPENINGS

Mummy isn't feeling well at all. She had an operation to help her use her feeding tune earlier this week. Well the pain from the operation has escalated last night.
Mummy put on a brave face this am though when her family human came to visit, she called him an uncle. I got introduced and I had a sniff around and laid near him, thought he seemed OK. I was told before he arrived he isn't keen on cat beings though, so maybe me laying near him will help this for future.
Mummy just grinned and bear through the pain during the am and until a debate with someone about helping ease the pain via hot water bottle. Refill, no?
Mummy was told not on your Nelly can hot water bottle be refilled despite the pain.

So da da da......!!!
Support Arnie to rescue.
Hot water bottle and mummy, and off to neighbours, we kindly asked if they could help out and I spent time with my friend Milly, their half blind dog, between us we make a fully sighted animal of a cat-dog.
Do you remember that programme cat-dog? I'm going to get told off now but Mummy remembers it, she's old enough  to remember as long as her memory does.

Once home I helped mummy sort some paper by moving the pen each time she wanted to use it and laying on the papers.

I could get used to this support malarkey, although unsure as I had to keep being guided away from walls and doors; its hard being half blind. Things jump out on you especially hands.

Nap time now though
