NEW GIFT - BOWL

I just had my new bowl arrive today, it's great don't think, such a treat.
Mum got it for me from this seller in eBay -
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182136248994

They do other sizes, styles of writing and colours too. The seller is great at working out the ideal finished product for Mum to buy. The seller tells us that is called sublimation printing where the ink turns into a gas during the heat process - and washable and permanent.

This is my personalised one

I keep getting sudden little new gifts. My birthday isn't until August. I think Mum has forgotten this or she thinks we are in August; pity we don't have the weather for it then.

A NEW EXPERIENCE

A new experience, as far as I'm aware I haven't come across before; not that I have known it anyway.

I had my morning nibble as usual and left for a stroll around the garden with Mum; as still being kept in due to my infection risk from wound. So I have escort duty, its like being on prison cell release; well I imagine so.
I was then confined back to indoors; we did have the patio doors open though. And then it all happened.
The ants came from everywhere to our road. They just all appeared, every work man there was going for a the whole town turned up just to disrupt my sleep; my nap was now disrupted completely.
The men outside with the clipboards, scribbling away busily; I have no idea what they were doing. They were looking at the road though and then scribbling and then the other man in the bright coat would unscrew the road with a huge rod.
There was  a clatter and a bang and the road was open into underneath. Its a good job I wasn't out the or I might of fell down it and been under the road.
When they kept banging this is where it disrupted me and I got a bit impatient with them; I was just snoozing off.
I would lift my head up each time in protest.

The Tree Surgeons on the boarder of the garden who are singing, cutting down a huge oak tree. They bought a whole range of tools and power equipment; so noisy and disruptive to my sleep. I'm sure they would wait until they could hear my gentle snoring and then they would start up their power tools and wake me with a fright.
I'm not causing for a fuss for the shear fact we will get a lovely view and some sun once its gone; although the tree is beautiful in itself. I bet the neighbours plant a tiny new tree there soon; the irony.

And the last person we have in our neck of the woods is a Specialist Electrician the house; drilling and causing a fuss. The plus side of this, we will hopefully be able to use the Electrical Access once they are finished
If anyone wants any workmen they are all in our area.

I'm wondering how long before bed? But at least then It will be peaceful. Well as long as the RAF camp are not practicing with their guns again, they sound like bombs on the roof; so scary to a little ear.

INFECTION? AND BANG! (Note: picture - not dead)

Note: not dead bird in picture

Infection has set in. The smell is getting very strong and I''m struggling to not scrap at it. This is due to the neighbour yesterday and creating a wound.
Mum put some lotion on which the vet gave her but I think I will need an injection too.

I did get a nice treat for tea though as I'm struggling to eat with my wound near my mouth, so I had a soft treat of meaty pouch.

We had a loud bang, well another loud bang. There is always loud bangs going off here as we are near a training camp for the RAF. This loud bang was unrelated though. Happily sleeping away and Mum was busy and then we heard and had something pelt into the window at the same time. A Starling?

(note: not dead)

It shocked itself so much it just laid on the floor for over ten minutes. We have a floor to ceiling window in the lounge, so I just sat and watched it. It hardly moved, apart from tiny head movements; to show its still alive.
It eventually sparked into movement and got wiggling about; it got onto its side and out of view. After a while I saw it hopping around the garden; it looked rather stunned and slow. The little birdie wasn't flying at all, and even when his little blackbird friend popped over to comfort him; he didn't fly off with him.
By the end of the day he was gone though.

INJURIES

I came home beaten and bleeding with clumps missing, soil all over me and scared stiff; with a sore lip, back and rear paw.
The neighbour has gone for me in the past, I'm not sure why they don't like me, is it because my one eye they feel threatened by my being different?
I'm physically shaken due to our neighbour attacking me.

We are going to report them as was witnessed from Mum and have evidence which is photographed with date. I'm getting cuddles and getting some lovely chicken fed to me to me too; so my belly is really cared for.

I'm unsure if I will go out again though as I keep going to the door and getting really nervous, maybe I will be a house Arnie from now on?
