A new experience, as far as I'm aware I haven't come across before; not that I have known it anyway.
I had my morning nibble as usual and left for a stroll around the garden with Mum; as still being kept in due to my infection risk from wound. So I have escort duty, its like being on prison cell release; well I imagine so.
I was then confined back to indoors; we did have the patio doors open though. And then it all happened.
The ants came from everywhere to our road. They just all appeared, every work man there was going for a the whole town turned up just to disrupt my sleep; my nap was now disrupted completely.
The men outside with the clipboards, scribbling away busily; I have no idea what they were doing. They were looking at the road though and then scribbling and then the other man in the bright coat would unscrew the road with a huge rod.
There was a clatter and a bang and the road was open into underneath. Its a good job I wasn't out the or I might of fell down it and been under the road.
When they kept banging this is where it disrupted me and I got a bit impatient with them; I was just snoozing off.
I would lift my head up each time in protest.
The Tree Surgeons on the boarder of the garden who are singing, cutting down a huge oak tree. They bought a whole range of tools and power equipment; so noisy and disruptive to my sleep. I'm sure they would wait until they could hear my gentle snoring and then they would start up their power tools and wake me with a fright.
I'm not causing for a fuss for the shear fact we will get a lovely view and some sun once its gone; although the tree is beautiful in itself. I bet the neighbours plant a tiny new tree there soon; the irony.
And the last person we have in our neck of the woods is a Specialist Electrician the house; drilling and causing a fuss. The plus side of this, we will hopefully be able to use the Electrical Access once they are finished
If anyone wants any workmen they are all in our area.
I'm wondering how long before bed? But at least then It will be peaceful. Well as long as the RAF camp are not practicing with their guns again, they sound like bombs on the roof; so scary to a little ear.
Bye
