M GOES MISSING

Morris disappeared.
High alert. Vets alerted and posts put online.
He was let out in the evening as usual and Mummy went to let him in, as usual just before bed; but he was no where to be seen. Tried a few times at different times on the big round tick tocky thing that hangs on the wall; but Morris didn't turn up.
Mummy had a broken nights sleep; the worry  kept her awake.
On the next morning Mummy spent the whole day searching but still no sign. I went with her meowing beside her; being helpful; trying to encourage Morris to come back.
Then we began to think the worst. And now we just need to see his boisterous zebedee style behaviour.
Has anyone seen our fluffball please?

M's CRAVINGS

Morris has always has a keen nose for sniffing out as soon as the big white tub is opened in the kitchen and will come running from wherever he is. It even worked for getting him in from outside this evening after he spent an afternoon outside laying in the sun; my human Mummy was a bit concerned about getting him in as he doesn't come to his name unlike myself.
Everytime our human Mummy goes to the big white run Morris goes running over and starts making loads of noise and wanting attention; asking for chicken.
He's lucky he normally gets some as the clinical prodder told mummy that he needs to gain weight as he is losing weight and to increase his diet; by richness, Protein and carbohydrates.
So the fattening up begins for him.
I'm getting a bit miffed at times as I get tiny bits compared.

Anyway tonight we have our human mummy's small relative staying over and Morris isn't keen, so he's staying well away; until small relative moves out of room the Morris is usual self and exploring where small relative was and up too.
Small relative happened to leave some asparagus hummus on the side and Morris soon had his head in it happily licking the pot out.
Human mummy was pretty concerned that Morris may get ill so stopped him. Bjt Morris did seem to be enjoying this unexpected treat.
Having small relatives does have bonus'.

We are all heading to bed with full tummies now.

GUIDE CAT ARNIE

So tonight I became a guide cat, ever heard of one, for another cat for the purpose of a human Mummy?
Well Morris got out the front door late at night where he wasn't meant to go quite yet, especially late at night, and my human Mummy couldn't manage to go get him from under the big metal boxes (which make these horrendous noises, move fast and have huge moving round things similar to balls Morris and I play  with), the bushes and neighbouring areas; especially as Morris has hardly any sight and needs some guidance.
So human Mummy sent me out to do my duty of finding Morris and bringing him back in whilst she sat at the doorway ready to close the door behind him and calling him encouraging him back telling him 'good boy, follow Arnie'.
I think we done well as we got a nice treat once back inside and I got a special hug and lap cuddle which I love.
I do love working for my human Mummy, I can take off her socks (this is up and down to when it works though), and also pick up pens, nothing else quite yet); I'm sure I should of been a guide dog.

Now to bed

SIXTH BIRTHDAY

Well paw greetings.
I'm getting a creeky grumpy old moggy. I sure feel it with a bouncing one year old Morris about these days; but I can't complain we have fun most of the time.

Today is a special day, we'll all are in this house in some way; but today is even more special it's my birthday.
I'm six today and my human Mummy surprised me with a yummy birthday cake; with a special candle on it.
It was so yummy. I was very kind to share some with Morris.
Human Mummy had told me that she is popping to the bank for her Charity but she will be taking some shiny round things out which everyone always want; and then see if she can get me something today to bring home.

Pondering what it may be.

Picture of my yummy birthday cake to tease you all
